It was truly a wonderful experience. We stayed for three days and really wanted to stay much longer. The beauty of the islands and learning a little more about the Kuna culture were amazing. The crew was spectacular. Gaby, Yam, and Orlando dedicated themselves every day to making our stay a pleasure. The food they prepared for us was truly delicious, and the service was excellent. The catamaran was impeccably clean. I hope to repeat another trip with San Blas on Board, Yoli, and the excellent crew. We will recommend them to our friends so they can enjoy this experience. Until next time.

We were a group of 12 and chartered two catamarans to tour the archipelago. Without a doubt, the experience is absolutely worth it. They pick you up at your hotel and take you directly to your destination; you don't have to worry about a thing, and the place is truly paradise. Our skipper was Arvin, and he's a 10. Super professional, discreet, and he makes some killer drinks. He tailored the itinerary to our requests, and he's a pleasure to chat with. As for Jei, he prepares finger-licking food. The ceviche and coconut flan are unbeatable. Thanks for everything.
Dear Obando
I stayed on the Yoli with my partner and it was a wonderful experience! The attention from the entire crew is incredible, the food is delicious, and they suggested different plans for us to explore San Blas. We'll be back soon because we fell in love from the day we set foot on the boat!

I would do it again! I will recommend it to my friends. A 10!

The San Blas archipelago is a marvel. It's the perfect example of a tropical paradise, and although it's not a cheap destination, it's an absolute must-see on a trip to Panama. The experience of visiting it on a catamaran was very positive, highly recommended. A special mention to Amanda. From the first moment we contacted her, she was especially attentive, answering any questions we had and explaining everything in great detail, which greatly helped us decide to book with San Blas on Board.

Frequently asked questions

Our prices start at USD 275 per night per person, all inclusive except transportation from Panama City to San Blas and entry taxes in Guna Yala. The final price depends on the type of boat you choose (sailboat or catamaran), whether it's private or shared, the number of people on board, the size and model of the boat, the crew, and the season.

To confirm your reservation, we require a 15% deposit of the total amount, which can be paid by bank transfer, Wise, or credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

The remaining balance is payable in cash on the day of embarkation or, depending on the vessel, between 30 and 7 days before embarkation via bank transfer. We recommend checking the specific terms and conditions for each vessel, as they may vary depending on the vessel and crew.

Transfers from Panama City to San Blas are not included in the charter price. We can help you arrange this safely and reliably with our partner transportation companies. The approximate cost of round-trip transportation by 4x4 and speedboat is USD 150 per person (shared), plus entry taxes to Guna territory: USD 8 for Guna nationals or residents and USD 23 for foreigners. Payment for transportation is made directly to the driver on the day of travel.

We also offer private transfer options or flights on private aircraft with capacity for up to 9 people; contact us for more details.

It is recommended to avoid rigid or oversized suitcases, as they can be uncomfortable during the 4x4 transfer and boat ride to the ship. Ideally, pack light luggage in backpacks or soft bags that are easy to store on board. If you are traveling with large suitcases, it is essential to notify the ship in advance so we can arrange space in the transport vehicle. If you prefer, you can leave your large luggage at your hotel in Panama City and only bring what you need for the days at sea.

Yes, you can arrive in your own vehicle if it's a 4x4, as the road to San Blas has steep slopes and curves. The drive from Panama City to the port of Cartí takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes. Vehicles other than 4x4s are not allowed at the border with Guna territory, so it's essential to comply with this requirement. Parking is available at the port for an additional fee (around USD 5 per day). Remember to bring your driver's license and vehicle documents, as there is a Guna Congress checkpoint along the way.

Most boats are located in the western part of the San Blas archipelago, near Cartí, Cayos Limones, Chichime, or Porvenir. Once your reservation is confirmed, we coordinate all transportation from Panama City to the boat, including ground transportation and the connecting boat. Final access to the boat is by speedboat (30 to 60 minutes, depending on the boat's location).

If you choose air transport, the boat will be waiting for you anchored directly in front of the runway and the crew will pick you up with the dinghy.

The trip begins around 5:30 a.m., when the 4x4 picks up guests in Panama City to begin the transfer to San Blas. Boarding begins at 9:30 a.m., once passengers arrive at the archipelago. Disembarkation begins at 6:15 a.m., depending on the area where the boat is located. Before the trip, we will send you the exact pickup time and all the details about the transfer, boarding, and disembarkation.

During your stay, you'll enjoy all-inclusive service with fresh meals prepared onboard by the crew. Menus and meal quantities vary by vessel and include options featuring fish, seafood, meat, chicken, fresh vegetables, and tropical fruits. Meals are tailored to the availability of local produce in San Blas and may vary depending on the day's catch or the season. From March to May, lobster and shellfish are banned, so their consumption is restricted by law.

Yes, all main meals are included (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, as well as non-alcoholic and moderate alcoholic beverages). Please note that the amount of food and drinks may vary depending on the vessel chosen.
